Flower Bloom
It has been quite a dry spell since my last photoshoot. Not gonna lie has bummed me out that I waited but maybe I had to wait. I came into 2023 with such a calm and reassured energy that this year would be the year I jumpstart my ideas, my goals and plans. To say that I have been slowing doing it and taking it step by side, I am quite proud of myself.
To help me out on my first planned shoot are my 2 friends, Daisy and Maria. They were so excited to help me out as I was excited that they were supporting me! I thought that I came prepared into my shoot with deleting over 1,600 photos from SD card earlier that day from my laptop, having my batteries charged with all props needed for the shoot. Little did I know that I would still be learning lessons……After taking about 20 or so photos, my card says memory full. MEMORY FULL???? WHY?! HOW?! Literally panic is running through my mind and I am FREAKING OUT! How could this be happening when I deleted so many photos?! Luckily, my friends were so patient and supportive throughout my panic. I had to result to continue deleting photos but in the end “the show must go on.”
I was able to get it together after a few deep breathes and apologies. I am excited to say that the photos came out amazing! On the professional business side, I felt I could have done more to prepare as well as provide with my photos. This was my first shoot back after almost 2 years so I had to take it as a learning lesson.
Photography has its ups and downs and its through these lessons that I grow. With each photoshoot I take something new and add to the next. I am just as excited to continue creating!
The photos below are a mixture of film and digital. The film had an extra amazing touch to the final images and I am sooo HAPPY with the way they turned out. :)
